Keyshia Cole Serenades Couple With ‘I Choose You’ After On Stage Marriage Proposal

This past weekend, Keyshia Cole’s “Woman To Woman” tour made a stop at the Warner Theatre in DC and fans were treated to a special moment when a guy in the audience decided to propose to his girlfriend on stage. He told Keyshia:
Her birthday is coming up in a couple of days and you are her favorite artist. She loves you. We have two beautiful kids and she’s always got my back. Always. She followed my career. Put her career on hold and let me follow my dreams, so it’s only right that right now… [gets on one knee to propose.]
I don’t know what Keyshia was doing [probably cuing the DJ to play a song] but she almost missed the moment. When she realized what was going on, she stepped in a little closer to check out the ring before she blew the track, “I Choose You” out of the ball park. Meanwhile, the couple remained on stage and slow danced throughout the performance.
