CHICAGO — Chicago’s top police official says an assault-style weapon with a high-capacity magazine was used in a late-night attack at a southwest Chicago park in which 13 people were wounded.
Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Friday that given the type of weapon used, it is “a miracle” that no one was killed in Thursday night’s attack in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. Read more at newsone.com
