The second half meltdown last week has carried over to Green Bay for the Cleveland Browns, who trailed the Packers 14-0 after the first quarter.
Brandon Weeden struggled the entire first quarter, going 2/11 for 23 yards and one interception. His QB rating is a mere 1.7.
The Browns defense has struggled as well; missed tackles near the goal line led to the Packers first touchdown of the game.
Eddie Lacy added a 1-yard touchdown run midway through the quarter for the 14-0 lead.
Green Bay had a roughing the kicker penalty, which gave the Browns a fresh set of downs, but the Browns were never able to capitalize.
The Packers took the 17-3 halftime lead, but the Browns settled down a bit in the second quarter and had a nice drive midway through the quarter.
Cleveland went 12 plays and 60 yards in 6:25 before settling for a 46-yard field goal by Billy Cundiff to cut the Packers lead to 14-3.
