Communities all over Northeast Ohio will honor our nation’s veterans with parades, ceremonies and other events for Memorial Day.
Here is a list of several of the events:
Friday:
– Cleveland: Rib Cook-Off & Music Festival at Jacobs Pavilion and the Nautica Entertainment Complex. For more details, click here.
– Green: Dedication of new veterans memorial on the 10th green at Ohio Prestwick Country Club, 3751 Glen Eagle Blvd. at 5 p.m.
– Jackson Township, Stark County: Field of Honor/Field of Heroes. More than 1,000 American flags displayed at Jackson Township Safety Center.
Saturday:

– Rittman: Grave Decoration Ceremony, 9 a.m., Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Boy and Girl Scouts and the public invited to assist with placement of Memorial flags.
