Cleveland police said a 3-year-old girl was stabbed and her mother was arrested.
The stabbing happened Sunday at about 9:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of West 47th Place.
Police said when they responded to a child abuse call, they encountered a women who kicked the door down at police.
When officers entered the home, they found A’mora Johnson with a stab wound to the abdomen, police said.
She was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. On Monday, she was out of surgery and doing well.
Police said 27-year-old Tiarra Johnson, mother of the child, was arrested for felonious assault and child endangering.
