The late Whitney Houston, known for having the best selling Gospel album of all time with The Preacher’s Wife, will be back to profess her love for Jesus one more time on recorded music. Coming on November 17th, Song Recordings will be releasing a never released version of Houston’s medley “Jesus Loves Me” and the hymn “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.” This is a live perfomance the late mega star performed during her iconic The Bodyguard Tour.
Legacy Recordings (in cooperation with The Estate of Whitney E. Houston) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album with the release of Whitney Houston – I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard on November 17, 2017. An essential new Whitney Houston collection bringing together a variety of live and studio recordings–many previously unreleased or unavailable–chronicling the artist’s peak achievements.
I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard includes never-before-released live recordings from Whitney’s historic The Bodyguard Tour (1993-1995); alternate versions of the audio recordings from the “The Bodyguard” film; an alternate version of a remix of “I’m Every Woman”; additional artwork and more.
