Every year, families gather in October to carve pumpkins for Halloween. Some people go to stores, while others make a day out of it and go to a pumpkin patch. If you haven’t picked out your perfect pumpkin yet don’t worry, we made a list of the best places to go.
In no particular order:
Pickering Hills is a local family run farm in Avon, Ohio. Every weekend they host a Fall Festival with a ton of events for the family. They have a free wagon ride and a corn maze that only costs $1. You can sip on some hot or cold cider while picking out your pumpkin.
The festival is every Saturday and Sunday in October from 12-5 p.m.

Red Wagon Farm has been in Columbia Station for more than 50 years. This year, the farm is celebrating their 35th annual Pumpkin Festival. The farm has a wagon ride, corn maze, and a kid’s play area. They even have a special where you pay $10 for any pumpkins you can carry.
The Pumpkin Festival is every weekend from 12-5 pm.
