Image result for Ohio minimum wage expected to rise

via Wkyc:

The Ohio minimum wage is expected to rise on Jan. 1 to $8.55 for no-tipped employees and to $4.30 for tipped employees, according to the Ohio Department of Commerce.

This increase mirrors a rise in inflation rates and applies to those who work for a business that makes at least $314,000 annually.

For companies that make less, or for employees ages 14 or 15 years old, the average minimum wage is $7.25.

The minimum wage rise is connected to a rise in the Consumer Price Index, which increased by 2.9 percent from Sept. 1, 2017 to Aug. 31, 2018.
